How Therapy Can Help

Counseling is non-judgmental. It doesn't usually involve giving direct advice. I can help you see problems in a different light which helps you to draw on your own resources to come to terms with the situation and begin to find a solution.

  • I can help you to look at your situation more objectively and perhaps shed new light on old problems or patterns.

  • It's a place to share your worries and sort out your feelings.

  • I can help you understand your own, and others', behavior so you can change what's not working for you anymore.

  • Working with me you can learn new and more effective ways to deal with situations and others.

  • Successful therapy includes some resolution to your problem, some understanding of how to do things differently and some self awareness that you can apply to future situations.
